20 Mar PortugalDC Event – International Data Center Day
March 20, 2024, International Data Center Day was the day chosen for PortugalDC’s first networking event, taking place at Top Board Studios in Carnaxide, Lisbon.
International Data Center Day started to be celebrated globally as a way to create awareness of the data center industry and to inspire the next generation of talent. PortugalDC’s Vision and Mission are also based on these principles, and it was, therefore, the ideal day to bring together all associates and celebrate the anniversary on the one hand but also the beginning of a journey that will be of enormous relevance for the future of the industry in Portugal.
The main topic of this first event, Artificial Intelligence, was brought to the stage through two presentations:

With about 70 participants representing the almost 40 members, the moment was one of good and fruitful discussions and exchanges of ideas, but also of communion.
