First General Assembly of PortugalDC

The first General Assembly of PortugalDC was marked on the 5th of February.

One of the main topics on the agenda was the election of the new Executive Committee (EC) that now takes office for the 2024-2027 triennium. The new Board of Directors formed by the Executive Committee, the General Assembly and the Fiscal Council is composed as follows:

This first face-to-face meeting of the new group of associates, was also a moment of get together, sharing of ideas, presentation of accounts for 2023 and definition of the activity plan for 2024.

Regarding this last point, in addition to the focus on launching the association’s website and setting the date for PortugalDC’s first event (based on the International Day of Data Centers), other relevant points were addressed, namely the establishment of partnerships with its counterparts in other countries, the establishment of a partnership for the definition and development of a professional skills framework or the creation of working groups to address in particular the Regulatory Framework, Connectivity or the Promotion of Portugal as a Data Center Hub.

PortugalDC would like to thank all members for their warm participation. Together, we will put Portugal on the map as an important destination for the Data Center industry.
