05 Jul PortugalDC Holds Quarterly Meeting Focused on the Future of the Association
On July 5th, PortugalDC, the Portuguese Data Center Association, held its quarterly meeting titled “Quarterly Update.” The conference call brought together around 50 members and aimed to analyze the current state of the industry and outline the next steps for sector development.
The meeting’s agenda was extensive and covered several crucial points. Initially, the current state of the industry was presented, followed by a detailed overview of the Association by the Numbers, where relevant data about PortugalDC’s growth and impact on the sector were shared.
One of the highlighted topics was the Association’s participation in various industry events throughout the year, underscoring the importance of maintaining an active and influential presence. The new PortugalDC website was also introduced, portugaldc.pt, aiming to be a fundamental tool for communication and interaction among members and the general public.
Another key point in the meeting was the creation of new working groups. The next steps for these groups to start producing significant results were outlined, focusing on strategic areas for the development of the data center industry in Portugal.
To conclude, the future of the Association was discussed with the presentation of the Roadmap until the end of 2024. This plan includes several initiatives and goals to be achieved, reinforcing PortugalDC’s commitment to innovation and sustainable growth in the sector.
During the meeting, the division of roles within the board was also announced, a measure aimed at improving the efficiency and management of the Association’s various areas of activity.
